for those that do not know, 720p is the least best and 1080p is the best
so if you have just gone and baught a hdready tv it does not deffinately mean that it will show the best quality definition ((1080p)), thats the one to go for if you want the best!!
but still it does not matter which you have if at the end of the day you have no high definitiion source in the first place!!
now for a high deff source you will need one of the following'
either;1. a playstation 3 (pluged in with an hdmi lead)the best connection
2. an xbox 360 elite ((as the elite has a hdmi output)
as far as i know the normal 360 does not yet have one, just composite leads!! ( tell me if im wrong please)) they may habe changed it?
3.a freeview receiver box with (hdmi output) there not actually transmitting freeview in high deff tho so its not going to be great!!
4. sky tv hd receiver box (( too expensive for us at present))
5. a dvd/hdd recorder with hdmi upscaling(upgrades the picture but still not as good as the real thing))

| | Xbox or Wii | | On my birthday i went out and bought the Xbox 360 Elite. Couldn't have been happier, but when i got back from holiday, my friend couldn't stop talking about his new nintendo wii. So which one is better? Xbox 360 if you want shooting games with superb graphics and little effort, or Nintendo Wii if your very active and love your sports. But thats the problem, i love both. I chose the 360 due to the graphics but after seeing the gameplay on the Wii i now have no real reason for buying the Xbox other than i wanted xbox live which i still after 4 months haven't sorted out.
